Vehicle listing checklist
Run each listing through this before you publish it.
Vehicle details
- Year, make, model and trim, spelled the way a driver would search for it.
- Vehicle type — sedan, SUV, minivan, pickup, hybrid or EV.
- Seats, doors and anything that affects platform eligibility.
Pricing
- Weekly price and monthly price, both as you would actually charge them.
- Deposit amount, whether it is refundable, and what can be deducted.
- Any recurring fee you charge on top of the rental price.
Mileage and limits
- Mileage allowance per week or month, or say clearly that it is unlimited.
- Cost per extra mile, if any.
Requirements
- Minimum age and driving-history rules you enforce.
- Documents you need before handover.
- Whether an active rideshare or delivery account is required.
Availability
- Only mark a vehicle available when it can be picked up.
- Update it the day a vehicle goes out, not the week after.
Use cases
- Tick every use you genuinely allow, and none you don't.
- If a vehicle is only for one platform, say which.
Photos
- Use your own photos of the actual vehicle, taken recently.
- Do not use manufacturer press shots or images from another website.
- If a listing has no photo yet, it may show a representative visual clearly labelled as not the actual vehicle, until you upload yours.
Response expectations
- State your reply window and keep it.
- Answer the question that was asked before sending a price list.
