How SFCF insights work
Every number in your dashboard is something we recorded happening. Nothing is estimated, modelled or rounded up, and staff activity and your own visits are excluded.
The terms
- Profile views — times your business profile page was opened. Repeat opens by the same visitor within 30 minutes count once.
- Unique visitors — how many distinct first-party visitors were behind those views in the period.
- Vehicle views — times one of your vehicle pages was opened, counted the same way.
- Impressions — times one of your vehicle cards was shown in search or a collection. An impression is not a view; it only means the card appeared.
- Saves — times someone saved one of your vehicles to their favourites.
- Website clicks — clicks on your website link.
- Contact clicks — clicks on your phone or contact button. Someone may click and never call.
- Inquiries — messages actually submitted through SFCF.
Why the words differ
- An impression, a view and a click are three different levels of interest, so mixing them would overstate your reach.
- Views count events; unique visitors count people. Views are always the larger number.
- A contact click is interest, not a conversation. Only inquiries are messages you received.
Who is counted
- We only call someone a Driver when the activity came from a signed-in Driver account. Everyone else is a visitor.
- Your own visits, your team's visits and SFCF staff activity are excluded from your numbers.
- Period-over-period change is only shown when both periods have enough activity for the comparison to mean anything.
